Shady Attalla, appointed VP of Engineering & Sohair Said, appointed VP of Administration

TORONTO — July 12, 2018 – Kodsi Engineering, one of Canada’s leading Forensic Investigations firms, is pleased to announce two appointments to its leadership team. Mr. Shady Attalla has been promoted to Vice President of Engineering; and Mrs. Sohair Said has been elevated to Vice President of Administration. Mr. Attalla and Mrs. Said will both continue to report to Mr. Sam Kodsi.

Mr. Shady Attalla, in his new role as Vice President of Engineering, will oversee all of the company’s forensic engineering operations including leadership of all engineering and technical experts. He will also continue to work as a senior reconstructionist, researcher and contribute to growth initiatives alongside the client relations team. During his 10 years with the firm, Mr. Attalla has been involved in more than 1200 forensic investigations and has published six peer reviewed papers. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McMaster University and is a registered Consulting Professional Engineer in Ontario.

Mr. Attalla has also been qualified to provide expert evidence in the Ontario Court of Justice in the fields of accident reconstruction and human factors.

Mrs. Said, in her new role as Vice President of Administration, will oversee a number of the firm’s key activities including finance, client relations and office management. Over the course of the past 10 years, Mrs. Said has provided administrative leadership at Kodsi Engineering, including project management, timely and efficient deployment of experts and  delivery of expert opinions to Kodsi Engineering’s clients. Prior to her role at Kodsi Engineering, Mrs. Said worked at RMS Services, where she was a Canadian Division Manager.
